Classic

Any make/model of Cars must be closed wheel, 1974 or earlier.
Maximum width of rear axle 65mm (Including tyre) When viewed from above all wheel/tyre must not protrude.

Motors – any make of “S” can, Mabutichi, FC130 type motor that is recognised as a slot car motor allowed up to 23,000 rpm, allowed.

Motor Mounts – any type of inline or sidewinder motor mount can be used (fixed within the chassis or type that fits into a chassis) if using a motor mount that fits into a chassis, the motor mount must be locked in place by Its motor mount screws or glued so there is no advantage to cars that run fixed motor mount on the chassis , therefore no forward or side to side movement from the motor mount.

 

Gears / Pinion – On Sidewinder cars Spur Gears 30/31/32/33/34/35/36 tooth. Pinion - Only 11 tooth sidewinder pinion allowed . On inline cars contrate gears 25/26/27/28/29/30 tooth . Pinion – Only 9 tooth inline pinion allowed ( this is to maintain similar gear ratios between sidewinder and inline cars).

Guide / Braids – guides must be standard guide to the cars manufacture example; Slot it cars must run CH66 or screw in guide CH85; NSR cars standard guide 4841 or screw in guide 4845, inline or scratch-built cars must use Slot it guide CH66 or CH85 or NSR standard guide 4841 or screw in guide 4845. Other manufactures can use the fore said Slot it or NSR guides, you can use original guide of the car but the guide must not exceed a depth of 6mm and length of 21mm as per the Slot it NSR guides so that there is no depth or length advantage. Braids free choice.   

Body – Standard manufactured car: the body must remain as standard that is no removal of plastic or adding wheel arches, the body must weigh no less than 12 grams where body weights less than 12 grams weight must be added to bring the weight the up. There must be a full driver platform/interior fitted a lightweight Lexan interior can be used.

Scratch built: all bodies must remain as near to standard as possible as it would have looked in real life that is no excessive removal of plastic from any part of the body that alters the look of car or adding of arches to make the chassis or wheels fit, the body must weigh no less than 12 grams where body weights less than 12 grams weight must be added to bring the weight the up to 12 grams. There must be a full driver platform/interior fitted a lightweight Lexan interior can be used.

Chassis – all chassis’s must be plastic, (see general rules) can be either sidewinder or inline configuration, HRS chassis, 3d, scratch-built and chassis’s incorporating rigid motor mount can be used. The motor mount must be locked in place by Its motor mount screws or glued so there is no advantage to cars that run fixed motor mount on the chassis, therefore no forward or side to side movement from the motor pod.

Wheels – all cars must run slot it 15.8 x 8 mm rear wheels part number W15808215a other wheels maybe used but must exceed the measurements of 15.8 x 8mm and non-air rims. Front and rear wheels must run with matching wheel inserts, includes built in inserts.

Tyres - Rear tyres can be either original OME C compound, new Grey PCS f22 Rt03 & Rt04, F22 and F22 (1207) tyres must not be glued/stuck to the wheels.  Front Tyres – any tyres can be glazed and glued.

Axle’s – free choice & any End Stops & Axle Spacers allowed.

Suspension – not allowed.

All screws, wires, braid, and eyelets are free choic
