Well what can I say but the night belonged to young Archie taking a well deserved 3rd and only 1 lap behind his dad Dean in 2nd Archie gets the driver of night. He raced a very mature race night at 11 years old
There's only thing more thing to say
"Watch out lads he's only going to get better"

Now before we start Mark Wain want a mention as he keeps reminding people that he won on our Gt3 night and got the driver of the night too, well this time no such luck Mr Wain you get a mention and that's it you had your 15 minutes of fame😆. So who would take the win. Dean started off as the man to beat in the first heat Alex took the next Dean the Next , then Robbo joined in and took the next 2 wins in their heats as he started to get in the Groove with his new non black, white martini Lancia. So it was 2 races each to Dean, Alex and Robbo but was Dean who took the win just! 0.4 separated him from Alex. There were some tight races in the B heat group between Tez and Mark ( oh I had to mention him again when I said I wouldn't 🤦) and Tez and Deano, Deano was faster than tez by 0.2 of a lap some of the time but Tezs kept his head where Deano crashed out trying to hussle Tez. Tez got the driver of the night this week partly as he almost took 3rd from Robbo but mainly being still on the old grey tyres from last years rules that are still giving him the grip but at some point he will have to change as next years rules will be black tyres only will he cope without his grey tyres

Turnout was a little low for what is one of the closest classes at North Staffs. This was probable because the club was that hot Satan is thinking of using it as a holiday home!
Alex was back on form taking another win, I firmly believe that just being better than everyone else should be counted as cheating and they should be disqualified! To be fair though in one heat young Archie was staying with him and Alex was finding him difficult to catch. Ultimately Archie's raw pace wasn't a match for Alex's consistency.
Dean came in second even after a track issue while running on yellow. He declined the entitled rerun of the the lane though as it didn't cost him six laps and it wouldn't have changed the race positions anyway.
Mark came in third and the results make him look close to Dean, however if Dean hadn't have had a track issue the distance would have been significantly greater.
Next week is Formula 1.....lets hope the temperature comes down otherwise we will all have take the soft tyres off and change to hard!
