First race of 2026.

First heat of the night went off without any incidents but the second heat with the top group was a different kettle of fish now wasn't sure how it happened but Alex and Devon came out on the first corner on lap 9 and slow marshallling allowed Robbo to take a early 1.5 lap lead on Alex and 2 lap on Devon after the 2nd heat, could he keep that advantage. Heat 6 top group again first corner Robbo tipped Alex ever so slightly knocking Alex out, well Robbo has got to maintain his lead hasn't he? ( Robbo assured us it wasn't done deliberate ) mean while Steve Hills ( of Truspeed controller year fame) and Young Archie were keeping Alex and Devon in touch whilst Robbo extended his lead over Alex by 0.3 However Alex was on a charge putting festesr lap after fastest lap hunting Robbo down. Mark W was putting in some good lap times in too him And Tony ending the nights racing finishing 6th and 7th place Tony just 0.23 behind Mark. Robbo had a really bad run on white for him which allowed Alex to take the lead plus this allowed others in reach of taking a podium from him Robbo now needed a brilliant run and he produced a pretty good one putting several 6.7s that gave him a secured 2nd place. The driver of the night has to go the 4th placed man or should I say boy, young Archie is starting where he finished off last year I can see taking a podium this year.

20/03/26 Was Endurance almost open class tyres must be rubber, plastic chassis's only, and hard plastic body's other than that open to do what you want but most far as I'm aware used motors between 21.5k to 25k rpm on our track here at North Staffs big rpm motors are not needed to get fast lap times. With top 3 using the stock 22.5k scaleauto motors that comes with the scaleauto hyper cars using them to great effect Dean getting the fastest lap 6.3 seconds Alex 6.4 and Robbo 6.5. With Dean starting in a mid group and Alex and Robbo in top group, with 26 racers our best turn out this year , the computer mixed up the heats so the top group dropped a heat in the order until the last heat of the night Alex knew he had to pull all the stops out beat Dean at the end of the racing Dean won by the most narrowest of margins of 0.006 of a lap. Chris k and Terry had some good battles in thier heats as did all of the racers but with some many racers it was hard to keep up. The racer well racers of the night has to go to the two sisters Deans wife Kerry and her Sister Nicky. Nicky this time finished higher, but we know Kerry will up her game it was her first time that has raced competitively. Nicky's son William won 2 of his heats and was congratulated with the whole club clapping him . William you won't get any praise next time you win as the racers know you are going to beat more of them at some stage keep it up
